Bitcoin dominance, right now
One number that tells you where the money inside crypto is leaning: toward Bitcoin, or away from it. No signals here, just the reading and how to interpret it.
What Bitcoin dominance measures
Bitcoin dominance is the share of the entire cryptocurrency market capitalization that belongs to Bitcoin. If all crypto together is worth 2 trillion dollars and Bitcoin accounts for 1.2 trillion, dominance sits at 60 percent.
It is a relative gauge, not a price. Bitcoin can fall while dominance rises, if altcoins fall harder. That is exactly why it is useful: it strips out the market's overall direction and shows where capital is leaning inside crypto.
How to read the number
Dominance and the Bitcoin cycle
Dominance is one of the cleanest cycle thermometers because it does not depend on price targets. Each Bitcoin cycle so far has followed a similar dance: dominance climbs while Bitcoin leads, then bleeds when confidence spills over into everything else.
BitPulse reads the cycle with its own projection engine, published before the fact and checked against the real price in public. If you want the full picture behind this number, see how the engine works or open the live app.

Data note: the reading updates once a day from public market data (CoinGecko global figures). BitPulse archives the series and never rewrites past readings. This page gives context, not buy or sell signals.
